How GCNTB Made an Impact in 2024

In 2024, the Guyanese Cultural Network of Tampa Bay continued its commitment to cultural preservation, community service, youth empowerment, and charitable outreach.

Through partnerships, philanthropy, and community-driven initiatives, GCNTB supported programs that strengthened families, expanded access to resources, and uplifted youth both locally and abroad. Our impact this year reflects the power of compassion, collaboration, and collective action.

Partners for Change
Feeding Tampa Bay Food Drive
Our financial donation to Feeding Tampa Bay, combined with generous canned food contributions from members and community supporters, reflects GCNTB’s strong commitment to service.

Together, we collected 172 pounds of food, providing 143 meals to neighbors in need. We are grateful for the compassion and unity shown through this effort, proving that when our community comes together, meaningful change is possible.

Supporting Future Leaders
Service in Healthcare

In 2024, we were honored to support Crystal Griffith as she embarked on her journey to pursue a medical degree at Howard University School of Medicine. Our financial contribution was a testament to our ongoing commitment to education and empowering the next generation of leaders in the healthcare field.

By investing in Crystal’s education, we are not only supporting her dreams but also helping to create positive change in the medical community. We are proud to have played a small part in her path to success and are excited to see the difference she will make in the world.

Supporting future healthcare leaders allows us to invest in long-term community wellness. We look forward to witnessing the impact Crystal will continue to make as she advances in her career.

Youth Empowerment

In 2024, GCNTB was proud to support the Blackpool Sports Club N.A. with a donation aimed at advancing Guyanese soccer and empowering youth members. Our contribution focused on enhancing infrastructure and creating opportunities for both players and coaches.

We are committed to fostering growth and talent within the Guyanese soccer community, ensuring a lasting impact for years to come, and elevating Guyana on the global stage. Additionally, our efforts aligned with community outreach initiatives to inspire and engage local youth in the sport.
